Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Shipping Clerk to coordinate truck shipments, NF shipments, and respond to customer inquiries. This role interfaces with Customer Service and Traffic Coordination to ensure optimal service for carriers and customers. It includes back-up truck scheduling responsibilities.

The position requires SAP literacy, proficiency with Word/Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced shipping office environment. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• SAP literate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 3 years shipping office environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Sign up all packaging drivers and ensure correct loading door assignment.
• Record driver names and license numbers on the Bill of Lading (B/L).
• Review orders for product and pallet accuracy.
• Enter scale passes into the SAP system and assign to orders.
• Verify loaded orders against the loading record and coordinate with the foreman.
• Provide finished paperwork to drivers and enter orders into the scale system; manually enter data if the scale system is down.
