Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support the operations team at the Gibson City plant. You will perform shipping duties, schedule trucks, and maintain organized warehouse records to ensure timely shipments.

The role requires basic reading, math, data-entry skills, and familiarity with PICK, Word, and Excel. A GED or high school diploma is required, with on-site duties and full-time hours.

Job Summary:

• Makers Pride is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Clerk who will have a positive impact on the operations team.
• As a Warehouse Clerk you will perform shipping duties for the plant, including scheduling, tagging products and maintaining an organized warehouse.

What you’ll be doing:

• Checking Purchase Orders
• Scheduling trucks for loading/unloading
• Preparing shipping documents and entering data on a daily basis
• Maintain records of all products and orders
• Verify Seals on trucks
• Maintain Open communications with Corporate Customer Service to maximize shipments and minimize problems
• Work with Plant General Manager and Supervisors to establish load out and shipment schedules and keep them informed on orders (distribute copies, etc.)
• Coordinate containers, export documents and shipping documents for export shipments
• Maintain good relationship with the trucking companies
• Perform other duties assigned

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Computer Skills
• Ability to use PICK system and basic windows operation of Word and Excel and GroupWise email system.

Starting Pay: Logistic Clerk I $18.05/hr. a shift differential is offered for 2nd Shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90 th day of employment.
