Job summary

Neogen is seeking a Shipping Clerk I to perform shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment duties across domestic and international shipments. The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate distribution equipment, and familiarity with shipping documentation.

Responsibilities include picking orders, performing inventory lookups, packing according to work instructions, and maintaining accurate shipment records. This is a full-time on-site position with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with distribution/warehouse operations preferred.
• RF scanner experience desired.
• Forklift certification desirable but not required.

Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
