Job summary

Neogen in Lansing, MI is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfillment tasks across our distribution operations. You will verify orders, prepare shipments, post weights and shipping charges, and ensure accuracy in paperwork while handling pallets and labels.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, experience with RF scanners, and ability to operate distribution equipment. Forklift certification is preferred; training provided where needed.

• Two years of distribution/warehouse experience required.

Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters!The Shipping Clerk performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
