Certified Collectibles Group (CGC Comics) in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to ensure accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments. The role emphasizes detail-oriented packing, proper labeling, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle scanning, data entry, and selecting appropriate shipping methods while maintaining a safe work area. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:45pm, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have previous shipping experience.
• Be detail oriented and well organized.
• Comfortable with computerized systems and data entry.
• Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Capable of lifting 30 to 70 lbs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify items received for shipping by inspecting condition and accuracy against invoices.
• Scan and record product information into the company database system.
• Prepare shipments by packing, labeling, and protecting packages.
• Select shipping methods based on customer accounts (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies or issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping Clerk – CGC COMICS

Sarasota, FL, On-site, Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:45pm schedule.

CCG is currently looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our CGC Comics division in our Sarasota, FL offices. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments while maintaining quality and security standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SHIPPING CLERK

• Verify items received for shipping by inspecting condition and ensuring accuracy against invoices.

• Previous experience in a shipping role, preferably.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with computerized systems and data entry.
• Ability to manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Capable of lifting and handling packages weighing 30 to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
