Metals USA is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our Ambridge, PA facility. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for performing shipping duties and processing related paperwork for daily shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

This role requires basic math, strong communication, and computer skills to prepare bills of lading, coordinate third‑party carriers, and maintain orderly records. We offer an hourly rate of $19.00–$21.00 with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral/written/reading communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Ability to inspect material for quality conformance.
• Professionalism, diplomacy and confidentiality in communications.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Stelpan.

Responsibilities

• Prepare finished goods accurately for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate shipments with approved third party logistic company and carriers.
• Prepare shipping documents including bill of lading and print material tags.
• Verify shipments are accurate and undamaged prior to departure.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and manage shipping supplies inventory.
• Record shipping details and complete production paperwork daily.
