Job summary

Nemak Augusta plant is seeking a Shipping Clerk to process outbound deliveries, prepare packing lists and delivery paperwork, and ensure shipment documentation is accurate in SAP and other plant systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating outbound shipments with forklift drivers, carriers, and internal teams, verifying material, quantities and labels before load release, and maintaining organized, audit-ready outbound files while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Process outbound deliveries, shipping docs, and related transactions in SAP.
• Prepare and maintain packing lists, delivery paperwork, labels, and shipment records.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with forklift drivers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Verify material, quantities, packaging, labels, and documents before load release.
• Support loading activities with complete shipment information and system entries.
• Communicate shipment status and delays to the appropriate departments.
• Escalate discrepancies related to quantities, labels, or paperwork.
• Support inventory accuracy through shipment posting, scanning, and discrepancy reporting.
• Maintain outbound shipping files and audit-ready logs.
• Follow standard work, safety, quality requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Process outbound deliveries, Shipping documents, and related shipping transactions accurately and on time in SAP and other plant systems.
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including packlist, delivery paperwork, labels, and shipment records.
• Coordinate outbound shipment activities with forklift drivers, carriers, and internal departments to support on-time delivery.
• Verify correct material, quantities, packaging, labels, and shipment documentation before release of outbound loads.
• Support loading activities by ensuring required documents, shipment information, and system transactions are completed accurately.
• Communicate shipment status, urgent deliveries, delays, and documentation issues to the appropriate internal departments.
• Escalate discrepancies related to quantities, labels, damage, paperwork, or system issues to the apprpriate supervisor or department.
• Support inventory accuracy through timely shipment posting, scanning, reconciliation, and discrepancy reporting.
• Maintain outbound shipping files, logs, and records in organized and audit-ready conditions.
• Follow standard work, safety requirements, quality requirements, and escalation procedures to support compliant and efficient receiving operations.
