Schedule: Mon-Fri 4PM-12:30AM

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role involves working efficiently in a warehouse environment, managing shipping and freight operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proper order scheduling and documentation. The position supports warehouse shipping activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check in all drivers.
  • Print all pertinent shipping paperwork.
  • Coordinate loading doors with dock and drivers.
  • Ensure paperwork is signed by the driver.
  • Close loads in the system.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service for special order paperwork, such as international shipments or special BOLs. Enter orders and scan/index documents.
  • Understand and adhere to RJW's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate customer issues and inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Update reports as required by management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive telephone demeanor.
  • Be trained to be ‘Phone Assertive’.
  • Organize and schedule effectively.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and learning company-specific software.

Qualifications:

  • Basic office clerical skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
  • 1-2 years of clerical experience.
  • Basic transportation, logistics, and shipping knowledge.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents. Write reports and correspondence. Present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret data in graphs.
