Aerotek in Woodbury, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our manufacturing logistics team. You will package items, print labels, weigh shipments, and manage inbound/outbound processes in a climate-controlled shop.

• Print and label products accurately.
• Weigh packages to ensure proper shipping weight.

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Clock in/out of the E.10 system.
• Move and adjust parts within the E.10 system.
• Band and wrap shipments securely.
• Record data on process sheets and ship advisories.
• Report labor activities in the E.10 system.
• Receive products in the E.10 system.
• Fulfill orders promptly and accurately.
• Create and verify Bills of Lading against actual merchandise.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure accuracy.

Job description

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging items, printing labels, weighing packages, and handling various shipping and receiving tasks. This role requires physical ability to lift and handle packages up to 70 pounds, as well as proficiency in using E.10 systems for inventory control and order fulfillment.

Shift: 3:15pm-1:45am Mon-Thu

Pay: 22-25/hr

Responsibilities

• Package items by following instructions on process sheets.

• Print and label products accurately.

• Weigh packages to ensure proper shipping weight.

• Handle and lift packages up to 70 pounds without restrictions.

• Load and unload trucks efficiently.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Clock in and out of the E.10 system.

• Move and adjust parts within the E.10 system.

• Band and wrap shipments securely.

• Record data on process sheets and ship advisories.

• Report labor activities in the E.10 system.

• Receive products in the E.10 system.

• Fulfill orders promptly and accurately.

• Create and verify Bills of Lading against actual merchandise.

• Maintain inventory control and ensure accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled machine shop environment. Although the setting can get loud due to metal stamping activities, the company provides protective equipment and personal lockers. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from 8:30am to 5pm, with a training period from 6:30am to 3pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $51000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
