Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. in Nashville is seeking a warehouse associate to handle shipping, packing, and inventory-related tasks. You will review orders, prepare boxes, and ensure accurate labeling for carrier shipments.

The role involves loading/unloading trucks, operating a pallet jack and a walk-behind forklift, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. Basic typing is required, with a GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders to determine patient needs, number of cans, and special requests.
• Selects proper box size and packs orders securely.
• Seals boxes neatly and securely.
• Enters shipping destination into carrier program and affixes shipping label.
• Loads the UPS trailer.
• Maintains adequate supply of shipping containers and supplies.
• Unloads incoming trucks.
• Operates manual pallet jack and walk-behind forklift.
• Receives all shipments and documents packing slips.
• Stocks shelves and rotates inventory.
• Maintains warehouse and shipping area.
• Average number of orders per day to be determined by supervisor allowing 1.5% error rate.

Qualifications.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
