The Shipping Clerk at The Pharmacy Hub will organize and process orders, pick, pack, label shipments, and ensure medications are handled safely for transport. You'll follow regulatory standards and company procedures in a fast-paced pharmacy logistics setting.

This 100% onsite, full-time role offers 40 hours per week with overtime as needed. Benefits include 401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and paid time off; bilingual Spanish preferred to assist diverse patients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in shipper/packer or similar logistics role.
• Fluent English; Spanish preferred for bilingual support.
• Able to work 10-hour shifts 6:00 AM–7:00 PM, Mon–Sun.
• Basic computer skills to process orders and track shipments.
• Familiar with shipping and logistics procedures.
• Knowledge of proper handling and packaging of medications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process orders for shipment per policies and regulatory standards.
• Accurately pick, pack, and label packages for shipment.
• Package medications with temperature and safety considerations.
• Select shipping supplies and maintain organized shipping area.
• Collaborate with staff to support daily shipping operations and meet logistics goals.
• Communicate with other departments and external partners to resolve shipping issues.

Job Summary

The Shipping Clerk plays a vital role in organizing and processing shipments to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy's logistics. This position requires strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company protocols.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Order Processing

• Receive, verify, and process orders for shipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Accurately pick, pack, and label packages for shipment

Packaging

• Ensure medications are packaged appropriately, considering temperature, stability, and packaging specifications for safe transport
• Select and utilize correct shipping supplies as required for medication safety
• Collaborate to maintain an organized shipping environment
• Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the supervisor

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with staff to support daily shipping operations and meet logistics goals
• Communicate effectively with other departments and external partners to resolve shipping-related issues

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a shipper/packer or in a similar logistics or warehouse role
• Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
• Available to work flexible 10-hour shifts within the timeframe of 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• Basic computer skills to process orders and track shipments
• Familiarity with shipping and logistics procedures
• Knowledge of proper handling and packaging of medications

• Problem-solving abilities to manage shipment discrepancies
• Ability to operate packaging and labeling equipment

Environment and Cognitive / Physical Demands

• Warehouse or shipping facility environment, including potential exposure to cold storage areas
• Ability to concentrate on detailed tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Requires normal vision range
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, climb, and stack items safely

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 hours per week, with additional overtime as needed depending on business demands

This is a 100% onsite role; remote or hybrid work is not available

Pay Range

$17—$19 USD
