Carolinas Staffing is seeking a Shipping Clerk in Leland, NC. The role supports the Subcontract Coordinator in daily duties and ensures accurate shipment handling and inventory control.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wage starts at $16.00 hourly, with potential increases based on performance and growth. Background check and drug test are required.

Formación

• 2-4 years of progressive experience working in a shipping or outsourcing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares packing slip with purchase order for accuracy.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, and logs inventory.
• Inspects shipments for damages, records discrepancies, and notifies relevant personnel.
• Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures.
• May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping records.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift, shrink wrap machine, and company vehicle as needed.

Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Shipping Clerk in Leland, NC!

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for assisting the Subcontract Coordinator in the daily performance of their duties.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay:

$16.00 Hourly (As employees develop in the role, compensation may increase based on performance and demonstrated growth).

Responsibilities:

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
• May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.

Requirements:

• Be able to pass a background check and drug test
• 2-4 years of progressive experience working in a shipping or outsourcing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
