Overview

We are looking for a talented Shipping Clerk to join our team. You will oversee outgoing shipments from our manufacturing facility, keep detailed records, handle paperwork, package items, arrange pick-ups, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
• Oversee packages from start to finish, monitoring their progress
• Accurately package, label, weigh items, and ensure proper shipment methods and charges
• Inform management of product shortages to maintain accurate website information
• Verify incoming shipments against invoices and ensure goods are in acceptable condition
• Prepare detailed invoices and ensure proper packaging and shipping standards
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe warehouse environment
• Engage positively with vendors and drivers

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to lift and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Physical endurance for prolonged periods and standing work
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and organization
• Forklift experience and certification (strongly preferred)
• Quick problem-solving skills and task prioritization
• Flexible work hours
