We are searching for an experienced Shipping Clerk at our Irving, TX facility.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

At Senneca, we are looking for a talented Shipping Clerk to join our winning team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for tasks involving overseeing outgoing shipments from our manufacturing facility. This includes keeping detailed records, handling paperwork, packaging items, arranging pick-ups, and providing strong customer service for both internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Oversee packages from start to finish, monitoring their progress throughout the journey.
• Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped, ensuring proper shipment methods and charges.
• Inform management and supervisors of product shortages to maintain accurate inventory information.
• Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy by comparing invoices to orders and inspecting goods.
• Prepare detailed invoices to accompany shipments, ensuring proper packaging and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe warehouse environment.
• Engage with vendors and drivers positively.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Physical endurance for prolonged periods of standing.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Forklift experience and certification (strongly preferred).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible work hours.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
