Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. You will review orders, prepare shipments, and use PC-based systems to generate labels and documents.

This is a 1st shift role, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime opportunities. Taylor offers benefits starting on day one and a $1,000 new hire incentive to new team members.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of each order.
• Check-in orders.
• Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers.
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Maintain a clean working environment and equipment needed to ship orders timely.
• Follow safety requirements for the position.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment.
• Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Completes shipping reports.

Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join the team in Goodyear, AZ !

Your Shift

1st shift; Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime as requested (night/weekends, possible)

Your Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of each order
• Check-in orders
• Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
• Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
• Follow safety requirements for the position

You Must Have

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer

• Experience in Pick/Packing
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and WMS software
