Job summary

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk for our Jeffersonville, IN facility. You will check, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accurate documents and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include order verification, packing, shipping label creation, and data entry using PC-based systems. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

• Check in orders and assemble into shipments.
• Aggregate, package, and prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels using PC-based systems.
• Maintain a clean workspace and operate required equipment safely.
• Follow all safety requirements for the position.
• Record shipment data including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Complete shipping reports and perform other duties as assigned.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. In this role, you will check, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring shipping documents are accurate and orders leave on time.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift:

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required, including some weekends.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform a quality control review of each order
• Check in orders
• Aggregate, package, and prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
• Maintain a clean working environment and the equipment needed to ship orders on time
• Follow all safety requirements for the position
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Complete shipping reports
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

You Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility

We Would Also Prefer:

• Pick-and-pack experience
• Experience using UPS and FedEx software
