Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime and possible nights/weekends. Work authorization required in the U.S.

The role will perform shipping, receiving, storage, packing, data entry, and use shipping systems for FedEx, UPS and USPS, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of equipment and materials.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to operate or be trained on material handling equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 35 feet.
• Strong English reading/writing/communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distributing equipment, materials, and similar items.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices; record shortages and reject damaged goods; data entry.
• Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory.
• Pull products from warehouse to delivery to production floor.
• Pick, wrap, and pack products; affix identifying information to packages.
• Use shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and assist in monthly inventory cycle counting.
• Operate forklift or other equipment to load/unload/store goods.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space).
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and records.
• Complete shipping and receiving reports.

Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (overtime, possible nights and weekends). Work authorization required: must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and administrative duties associated with shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distributing equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar items.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents; record shortages and reject damaged goods; enter data into the inventory control system.
• Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehouse.
• Pull products from the warehouse to deliver to the production floor.
• Pick, wrap, and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers; affix identifying information to packages.
• Use shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Assist in monthly inventory cycle counting.
• Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record‑keeping purposes.
• Complete shipping and receiving reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate or be trained on material handling equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 35 feet.
• Strong communication skills in English; able to read, write, and convey information clearly.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move within the facility, and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

• Knowledge of operating material handling equipment such as sit‑down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
