Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas, TX is seeking a loader for the 1st shift (6am-6pm) with starting pay of $18 per hour. You will load window units, pull from staging, scan onto trucks, and assist elsewhere while following safety protocols.

Required: 1 year of warehouse loading experience and 1 year with RF/handheld scanners; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long hours; Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• One year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• One year experience with RF/Handheld scanners.
• Able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; hours depend on workflow/season.
• Standing/walking on concrete surfaces for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

JOB DETAILS: Starting pay: $18 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6am-6pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loader will be responsible for loading window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stacking units safely and securely
• Pulling units from staging bays using a pick sheet and loading onto carts
• Scanning units onto truck using handheld scanners
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with other team members
• Staging window units from production lines into staging bays
• Assist in other areas in the department as needed—housekeeping, unloading trailers, etc
• Wear proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• One-year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
• One-year experience with RF/Handheld scanners
• Candidate must be able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; work hours are dependent on work flow and season of the year
• Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
