Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas is hiring a Loader to move window units and load trucks during the 1st shift, 6am to 6pm, at $18 per hour.

You will scan units with handheld devices, stack materials safely, and cooperate with teammates while following safety rules.

Requirements include one year loading freight by hand, one year with RF scanners, ability to work up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• One year experience with RF/Handheld scanners.
• Ability to work up to twelve hours in a shift, Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Load window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stack units safely.
• Pull units from staging bays using a pick sheet and load onto carts.
• Scan units onto truck using handheld scanners.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Stage window units from production lines into staging bays.
• Assist in other areas (housekeeping, unloading trailers) as needed.
• Wear safety equipment and follow safety protocols.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS:

Starting pay: $18 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6am-6pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Loader will be responsible for loading window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stacking units safely and securely
• Pulling units from staging bays using a pick sheet and loading onto carts
• Scanning units onto truck using handheld scanners
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with other team members
• Staging window units from production lines into staging bays
• Assist in other areas in the department as needed—housekeeping, unloading trailers, etc
• Wear proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• One-year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
• One-year experience with RF/Handheld scanners
• Candidate must be able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; work hours are dependent on work flow and season of the year
• Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
