Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Rome, NY is seeking a Production Associate to support packaging, labeling, and quality control while handling materials to ensure high-quality products reach customers. You will work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime based on orders and season.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and strength.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse environment picking and pulling material preferred.
• Experience with forklifts preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging and labeling material for loading and distribution
• Responsible for quality control of finished products
• Working with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, screw guns
• Using measuring gauges and tape measures
• Communicate with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Housekeeping and sanitation

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
