Job summary

Dollamur Sport Surfaces is seeking a Logistics Associate to support shipping and receiving on the 1st shift. You’ll organize product, inspect rolls, package items, and assist with loading trailers in a busy manufacturing setting.

Starting pay is $15.00/hour with no experience; $16+ with experience (forklift a plus). Shift is 7am–4pm at the Fort Worth facility near I35W & Everman Parkway.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding spoken English is required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift consistently.
• Able to work in a factory environment with PPE.

• Package product for shipping according to instructions.

Logistics Associate (Shipping/ Receiving - 1st shift - large box)

Primary responsibility: assist in daily operational tasks for the shipping & receiving functions.

$15.00 for no experience (We will train you!!)

$16+ with experience - we'll pay for your value!! (Forklift experience a plus!)

1st Shift (7am - 4pm)

New facility off I35W & Everman Parkway.

Essential Functions:

• Organize and group product from previous day's production.
• Perform quality inspections on each roll including but not limited to checking for defects on each roll, checking surface quality, and overall appearance of product.
• Package product for shipping according to specific instructions.
• Load trailers with specific orders for each vendor based on ship via.
• Assist with receiving and unloading of trucks.
• Work within safety parameters as described in Dollamur's hire and wear required PPE during tasks.

Qualifications

• Self-starter; must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Willing to work overtime and/or some weekends as required.
• Experience working in an ambient temperature manufacturing environment a plus.
• Must be able to work on your feet, bend, stoop, and lift consistently for all scheduled hours.
• Must be able to manipulate and move material with assistance weighing up to 90 lbs. by either rolling, lifting, or using a hand cart.
• Forklift experience is very desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must be able to read and understand spoken English.
• High attention to detail, ability to solve straight forward problems with a few concrete variables.
• Must possess hand-eye coordination necessary to operate machines and perform essential duties.
• Experience using measuring and cutting tools a plus
• Must be comfortable completing tasks alone or as part of a team.

Work Environment

• This position will function in a manufacturing environment to fulfill essential duties. This role will regularly be required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, walk, climb stairs.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur.
• Exposure to forklift traffic, sharp tools & objects, and moving mechanical parts.
