Job summary

Slumberland is hiring for a fast-paced warehouse role. You will spend your day on your feet, loading and moving furniture with a team. The position starts at 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with potential raises based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills needed for everyday tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge for POS and records.

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture from semi-trailers.
• Move, store, pick, and stage merchandise in the Distribution Center.
• Operate warehouse equipment to move product safely.
• Inspect merchandise and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment, customer pickup, or storage.
• Assist in training and supporting other team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and merchandise-handling practices.

Starting Pay: $18.50/hour | Monday-Friday Day Shift | 7:00 AM Start

Earn more based on your performance:All new hires receive a formal 90-day evaluation. Employees who are meeting or exceeding expectations may be eligible for an additional$1.00-$1.50/hourbased on attendance, safety, training completion, productivity, teamwork, and reliability.

Quarterly Bonus Opportunity:This position is also eligible for our team-based performance bonus. When Distribution Center productivity goals are achieved, eligible employees can earn an additional$500-$750 quarterly bonus!

What You Can Expect

This is a fast-paced, physical warehouse role. We move furniture, and we move a lot of it! You'll spend your day on your feet, working alongside your team to safely receive, move, store, pick, and load merchandise.Our day starts at7:00 AM Monday-Friday. End times vary based on workload and volume.Previous warehouse or forklift experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person who is dependable, works hard, puts safety first, and enjoys being part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload furniture from semi-trailers.

• Operate warehouse equipment to safely move product.
• Inspect merchandise and ensure inventory and orders are accurate.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment, customer pickup, or storage.
• Help train and support other team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow established safety procedures and proper merchandise-handling practices.
• Pitch in wherever needed to help the team get the job done.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to regularly and safely lift, push, and pull up to 65 lbs. independently, and heavier merchandise with assistance/equipment.
• Forklift/equipment experience is a plus, but not required.
