Diamondback Firearms is seeking a Shipping Associate to ensure proper receipt and placement/storage of materials in the warehouse and shop. The role requires handling serial numbers, memorizing model specs, packing outbound shipments, and operating power equipment safely.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year shipping/receiving experience, tool familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work hours are 1st shift with potential overtime; background and drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Read and record serial numbers from firearms.
• Memorize all models and specifications.
• Pack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Provide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workday.
• Provide back-up for all shipping/receiving function.
• Undergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP).
• Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving area.
• Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack).

JOB SUMMARY

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience
• At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift Certified

CORE DUTIES

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
