Job summary

Diamondback Firearms, located in New York, is hiring a Firearms Assembler responsible for assembling firearms under limited supervision. The role involves working with both small and large parts and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools, a comfort level around firearms, and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position is full-time, with set weekday hours and potential overtime on Fridays.

• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be comfortable around firearms

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery exposure to noise and chemicals

Core Duties

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using work instructions
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Hours

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday- overtime as needed

Special Requirements

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
