Job summary

Brennan Industries is seeking a Shipping Associate to prepare, process, and coordinate outbound shipments within the manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and safe handling of products. You will prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists) and inspect items, label and secure packages for shipment, while coordinating with internal teams to support efficient operations.

A high school diploma and prior shipping or warehouse experience are preferred; candidates

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments in accordance with established quality and scheduling standards
• Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
• Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and secured for shipment.
• Verify shipment contents against orders and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Communicate with team members and other departments to support efficient shipping operations.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Any other projects or assignments as directed.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing lists, and work instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to shipment accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
