Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead our warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on driving efficiency, maintaining accuracy, ensuring on-time shipments, and building a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shipping and receiving personnel.
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure order accuracy, inventory integrity, and timely deliveries.
• Manage warehouse safety, OSHA compliance, and employee training.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
• Track and report KPIs including productivity, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve logistics issues.
