Job summary

Automation Personnel Services Baytown Branch is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor in Baytown, TX. The role oversees inbound and outbound orders, inventory control, storage, and meticulous documentation of packaged materials for the dock.

Monday–Friday schedule, and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will supervise crews, train warehouse staff, coordinate shipments, verify documentation, and uphold safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety focused.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Lead and train warehouse associates, forklift operators, and shipping/receiving clerks.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer and production schedules.
• Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and receiving records.
• Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
• Enforce OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations.

Automation PersonnelServices Inc. is hiring experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for a leading logistics warehouse in Baytown, TX. This candidate will be responsible for inbound/outbound orders, inventory management, storage, and accurate documentation of packaged material for the assigned dock.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities.
