Job summary

Flex in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Handler to support inbound and outbound shipments under the Materials Manager. You will verify counts, prepare bills of lading, stage materials, and use forklift equipment as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least one year of shipping/logistics experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the quality and count of items unloaded from trucks and trailers; reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product for pick up by carrier.
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks safely.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Handler located in Dallas, Texas.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Handler will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities.

Shift : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What a typical day looks like:

• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safely manner.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
