Staffmark is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator in Costa Mesa, CA. The role involves receiving shipments, inspecting materials, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining inventory records to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

The position requires 1 year of sit-down forklift experience, basic computer skills, and experience with shipping/receiving processes. Pay is $21.00 per hour with Saturday overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.
• 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience required
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes preferred
• Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip is a plus
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Process outbound shipments using FedEx and UPS shipping systems
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Enter inventory information into warehouse systems
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
• Track shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues
• Organize incoming materials and stage products for storage or distribution
• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy
• Operate a sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Individuals who demonstrate dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

What You Will Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.
