Job summary

NOV is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Louisiana to fill orders, read orders, and operate warehouse machinery safely. You will ensure accurate inventories and timely shipping transactions, and maintain clean, organized storage areas. The role requires forklift and overhead crane experience and at least a high school diploma.

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• 3 plus years’ warehouse and shipping and receiving coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill customers’ orders in accordance with specifications on order form.
• Receive and read customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled.
• Operate the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and report any equipment maintenance or problems to your supervisor.
• Ensure inventory and shipping transactions are completed.
• Read warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
