Job summary

NOV is seeking a Shipping Specialist to ensure timely and efficient Worldwide shipment of products. You will collaborate with warehouse and other departments to optimize the flow of goods and meet department targets.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you’ll leverage shipping software to monitor shipments, maintain records, and implement improvements while staying compliant with regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience with international shipments.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping processes and regulations.
  • On-call availability as needed.

  • Oversee the efficient shipment of products globally, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team and other departments to optimize the flow of goods.

  • Proven work experience as a Shipping Specialist or similar role.
  • 2-3 years experience of shipping International shipments
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Ability to be on call as needed
  • Excellent knowledge of shipping processes and regulations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using shipping management software and systems.
  • Analytical skills to identify process improvements and optimize operations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Physical Qualifications
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and medical examination screening.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, maintain balance while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and listening.
  • Flexibility to frequently bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull while performing repetitive tasks.
