McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio.

The role focuses on preparing shipments, inspecting loads, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment with Monday–Friday schedules. The position requires 4+ years in shipping and 2+ years in distribution, with additional duties of training teammates and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years’ experience in a shipping department.
• 2+ years’ experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border preferred.

Responsibilities

• Send shipments and create paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspect shipments for damages.

Benefits you can count on:

• Pay rate: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Position is located in a cold storage facility and requires prolonged exposure to cold temperatures.

What you’ll do as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator:

• Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments to ensure there are no damages.
• May send shipments outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
• Labels shipments prior to loading.
• Trains new teammates in shipping department.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 or more years’ experience in a shipping department.
• 2 or more years’ experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border is preferred.
• Strong math and documentation abilities.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
