Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage outbound shipments, verify order accuracy, and coordinate with the distribution center to ensure correct loading and labeling. The role includes training new teammates and handling international shipments when needed.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 4+ years in shipping, 2+ years in distribution, and strong math/documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a shipping department.
• 2+ years' experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border preferred.
• Strong math and documentation abilities.
• Must read/write English proficiently for job tasks and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments to ensure there are no damages.
• Verifies shipments per order requirements.
• May send shipments outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
• Labels shipments prior to loading.
• Trains new teammates in shipping department.
• Other duties may be assigned.

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will send, inspect and record outgoing products. Work with DC to load packages and check their contents to ensure they match the orders.

• Pay rate: $20.00-21.25 per hour.


• Tuesday-Saturday 8am-430pm.

This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
