Job summary

Johnson Controls, based in Roswell, GA, will transition to a Doraville, GA facility and seeks a warehouse/inventory coordinator to support purchasing, receive POs, and keep logs up to date. You will maintain inventory integrity, potentially operate a forklift, and lift up to 70 lb. A valid driver’s license is required, with the position paid hourly ($23-$32) and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements.
• Forklift certification is a plus and computer skills are important.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–5 years purchasing/inventory experience or related work is expected.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive POs and service order forms, and process material receipts daily.
• Keep warehouse organized and maintain receipts and transfer logs.
• Reconcile materials between Job Cost and customer credits.
• Coordinate RMA requests, process credits for warranty or repair materials.
• Maintain paper flows and ensure inventory integrity.
• Occasionally deliver parts and materials to the field.
• Perform other duties as directed.

What you will do

• Receive PO’s – Service Order Job Specific Forms Facility Maintenance Ship and receive material daily.
• Keep warehouse organized.
• Maintains all shipping and receipts logs.
• Understanding and execution of procedures and processes for receipts, issues and transfer of all materials.
• Notify Truck based Service Managers and Mechanics that Job Cost project materials have arrived.
• Confirm received materials in NxGen.
• Reconciliation of material from Job Cost and Customer credit returns.
• Coordinates all RMA requests, processes and credits for Warranty, or Repair material.
• Maintain all hard copy paper flows to validate that transfers are accounted for properly within NxGen.
• Maintain & monitor inventory integrity.
• Occasionally deliver parts and materials to the field.
• Perform other duties as directed.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23-$32
Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
