Job summary

Fidelis Logistics is seeking a Bilingual Shipping & Receiving Clerk (English/Spanish) in Birmingham, AL to verify inbound/outbound shipments and keep operations on track. You’ll coordinate loading schedules, track logs, and act as the main contact for drivers and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in shipping/receiving, familiarity with TMS/WMS, and strong MS Office skills. This role offers competitive wages, overtime, vacation, health coverage, 401(k), and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with TMS/WMS or inventory systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail to track shipments and spot discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to work with internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming shipments; ensure it matches work orders.
• Prepare outgoing pallet loads and keep shipments on schedule.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records (digital logs and docs).
• Coordinate loading/unloading schedules with carriers and drivers.
• Be the main point of contact for truck drivers, vendors, and visitors.
• Use inventory software (COLT/Blue Yonder) to optimize workflow.
• Perform pre-shift checks, assign loads, and coordinate with forklift drivers.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies (OSHA, MSDS, etc.).
• Support office management, accounting, and customer service as needed.
