Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a reliable warehouse associate in Portage, IN. You will receive, unload, verify shipments, and help prepare paperwork while maintaining accurate records.

You will communicate with drivers and customers, monitor docks, and assist onboarding. The role requires following safety rules and keeping the workspace organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn shipping/warehouse systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and follow safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Willing to work assigned shifts and weekends if needed.
• Must be able to push/pull, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify inbound/outbound shipments.

• Check quantities and condition against packing slips and delivery documents.
• Enter and maintain basic shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

• Support onboarding of new associates and share standard practices.
• Follow security procedures and report incidents promptly.
• Keep work area clean and follow food safety guidelines when relevant.
