Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Appleton WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support parts handling, inventory, and shipping operations. You will check in incoming parts, package and ship items, maintain a clean shipping area, perform inventory cycle counts, and prepare packing slips in Sage.

Forklift experience is preferred but not required, with on-site work Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm. Responsibilities include coordinating with shipping vendors, maintaining accurate shipment records, monitoring

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00/HR

Duties:

• Physically check in incoming parts from suppliers and package/ship outgoing parts to customers

• Keep the shipping area clean and organized, including removing garbage and cardboard to dumpsters

• Perform accurate Inventory Cycle Counts

• Individually package stock items for shelving

• Label and organize all stock items clearly

• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out)

• Prepare packing slips in Sage

• Prepare lot labels as required

• Update Sage with confirmed delivery dates and ship dates from suppliers

• Unload shipments using pallet jacks or sit-down forklifts (forklift experience preferred but not required)

• Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for the majority of the shift

• Count inventory by hand as needed

Qualifications:

• Coordinate logistics with shipping companies and work with customs to ensure fast clearance of incoming shipments

• Verify and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

• Monitor supply levels and provide reorder lists when needed

• Communicate with vendors via phone or email to follow up on open issues

• Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and handling documentation

• Collaborate with Spare Parts, Service, and Accounting departments to support smooth operations

• Participate in the on-call rotation (13-14 weeks per year, including holidays), with compensation provided for on-call coverage

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Assist in other warehouse or departmental tasks as assigned
