Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in New Albany, IN is seeking a forklift operator to receive materials, pull and ship orders, and support sales with accurate paperwork.

This full-time role requires forklift and RF scanner experience, lifting up to 75 lbs, and a high school diploma. Overtime and longer shifts may occur based on orders and season.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating an LP forklift.
• 3-5 years' experience in a shipping/receiving environment.
• 5+ years' experience with RF Scanners.
• Must frequently lift and move 50LBS, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and pull and ship orders for customers.
• Load materials and ensure safe securing during transport.
• Assist unloading and complete required paperwork for orders.

Base pay rate is $20.00 per hour

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM hours may vary depending on operations.

Responsible for receiving materials, pulling and shipping orders for customers, ordering replacement stock and providing excellent customer service and sales support to our valued customers. Loading materials, ensuring that the materials are safely secured, assisting with the unloading and completing required paperwork related to the orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating an LP Forklift.

• 5+ years' experience with RF Scanners.

This position may have overtime. Shifts are 8, 10, or 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season.
