Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team.

This on-site role supports production by receiving, verifying, and shipping parts and materials, and by helping to maintain a clean, organized work area. You will work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety regulations, and collaborate with a skilled team to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reading a tape measure and working with measurements.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments.
• Fast learner with willingness to learn new processes.
• Tow motor experience is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment such as saws and nail guns.
• Follow instructions and verify that complete contents of an order are there before packing.
• Adherence to a strict schedule to ensure all customer orders are on time.
• Use independent judgement to prioritize packaging orders.
• Work in a time sensitive, fast paced environment.
• Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles.
• Work individually, and as part of a team.
• Use overhead cranes to lift, move, and manipulate larger parts.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Strict adherence to quality standards and ability to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
