Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. You will verify orders, operate power equipment, and ensure on-time packing and dispatch.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, attention to detail, ability to read a tape measure, and the capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including tow motor experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fast learner with willingness to learn new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment such as saws and nail guns.
• Verify that complete contents of an order are present before packing.
• Adhere to a strict schedule to ensure all customer orders are on time.
• Prioritize packaging orders using independent judgement.
• Work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
• Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles.
• Work individually and as part of a team.
• Use overhead cranes to lift and move larger parts.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience working in manufacturing or construction is preferred
• Ability to read tape measure
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Fast learner with a willingness to learn new things
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
• Experience using a tow motor is preferred
