Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a permanent, full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team.

In this role you will handle quotes, orders, export documentation, and coordination of international shipments, with escalation to Technical Support as needed. The position requires export experience, strong communication, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of international logistics and export operations experience.
• Knowledge of Export Administration Regulations and licensing requirements.
• Working knowledge of INCOTERMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer questions, explains services, takes orders and sells products.
• Passes complex inquiries to Technical Support.
• Prepare International Quotations and Proforma Invoices.
• Process Export Orders into SAP-based system.
• Coordinate transportation and track international shipments.
• Assist with export documentation and write business correspondence.
• Interacts with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:

• Responds to customer questions, explains available services, corrects errors, provides information on pricing, takes orders, develops leads, and/or sells products and services.
• Passes more complex customer inquiries to higher level Technical Support
• Prepare International Quotations and Proforma Invoices
• Process Export Orders into SAP-based computer system
• Process and manage large complex orders
• Process emails
• Coordinate transportation of goods by air, sea, truck, courier
• Track and trace international shipments and communicate details to all concerned parties
• Assist with export documentation: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, USMCA Certificates, Certificates of Origin, etc. as required
• Ability to write business correspondence and to communicate effectively on the phone
• Performs restricted party screenings for customers and foreign visitors
• Assist sales offices with export quotes, orders and inquiries
• Interacts effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Continue education and ongoing review of industry requirements
• Effective, accurate and efficient processing of all customer requests (quotes, orders, RMA's, reschedule notices, parts inquiries)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of international logistics and export operations experience
• Working knowledge of Export Administration Regulations, Export Licensing Requirements
• Working knowledge of current version of INCOTERMS
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Experience in manufacturing export customer service preferred
• Prior export order and quote experience
• Export compliance knowledge
• Prior SAP experience is a plus.
