Job summary

Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a full-time Electrical Assembler to join our team. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components for control panels and read electrical schematics to ensure accurate wiring.

You will pull parts from inventory, coordinate with purchasing, and document changes to BOMs while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with building electrical control panels including mechanical assembly and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to quality standards, ensuring assemblies meet/exceed customer and company requirements.
• Complete assemblies on time while working either individually or as part of a team.
• Assemble all electrical and mechanical aspects of control panels and other related items; read and interrupt electrical schematics.
• Pull parts from inventory based on bills of material and coordinate with purchasing to resolve missing parts.
• Document changes and corrections to drawings, bills of material, etc.
• Perform inventory management functions as needed, including receiving and shipping tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pull parts from inventory based on bills of material and work with purchasing to resolve missing parts
• Document changes and corrections to any and all drawings, descriptions, bills of material, etc.
• Perform inventory management functions as needed, including receiving and shipping tasks
• Other duties as assignedstalls moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.

• Previous experience with building electrical control panels including mechanical assembly and wiring
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, layout drawings, and assembly instructions
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude required to diagnose and solve issues arising during manufacturing
• Experience using basic electric/pneumatic hand tools and small machinery (drill presses, punches)
• Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred
• Experience using a tow motor preferred
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Experience using ERP/MRP (SAP) software applications preferred
