Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Solon, OH is seeking a Shipping and Receiving specialist to support site operations and logistics. You will coordinate shipments, monitor storage conditions, and help ensure timely material availability for trials.

The role is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, pays $22–$25 per hour. Ideal candidates have warehousing experience, valid Ohio driver’s license, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent warehousing/food manufacturing experience.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with safe driving record; box truck experience preferred (CDL not required).
• Ability to read warning signals from equipment signaling hazards.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn warehouse management systems software.
• Physical ability to lift/move materials and work in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with trucking companies to schedule shipments and pickups.
• Monitor temperature conditions in coolers/freezers/storage areas.
• Ensure timely material availability for trials and resolve supply/delivery issues.
• Follow purchasing/shipping processes for domestic and international shipments.
• Break down incoming materials into batches and re-pack safely.

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving professional to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving specialist, you will be part of the Site Operations team supporting supply chain logistics and trial support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving

Location: Solon, OH

Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm

What's the Job?

• Coordinate with trucking companies to schedule shipments and pickups following freight procedures and bill of lading guidelines.
• Monitor temperature conditions of building coolers, freezers, and storage areas to ensure optimal storage conditions.
• Support trial excellence by ensuring the timely availability of materials and proactively resolving supply or delivery issues.
• Follow purchasing and shipping processes for domestic and international shipments.
• Break down incoming materials into smaller batches and re-pack them appropriately for use, maintaining safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in warehousing or food manufacturing environments.
• Valid, current Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record; experience driving a box truck preferred (CDL not required).
• Ability to detect and understand warning signals from equipment indicating hazardous conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn warehouse management systems and software.
• Physical ability to perform demanding work in extreme temperatures and industrial environments, including lifting and moving materials.
