Responsabilités

• Analyze work tickets, pick lists, and sales orders to identify necessary materials.
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and readied for distribution.
• Generate essential shipping paperwork, such as commercial invoices and bills of lading.
• Select the most efficient shipping routes and methods to optimize costs and delivery.
• Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize computer systems to input and track all shipping and receiving data.
• Label, unpack, and organize incoming stock into the correct warehouse locations.
• Help maintain precise inventory levels by investigating and resolving any count discrepancies.
• Support the team by participating in material replenishment and routine inventory counts.
• Promote a secure and orderly workspace by keeping tools, equipment, and storage areas clean.
• Document the usage and maintenance history of all material-handling machinery.
• Provide support for assembly operations whenever necessary.
• Complete additional tasks as requested by management.

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to become a key member of our expanding team in Shakopee, MN. This full-time position is ideal for a warehouse professional who possesses excellent organizational abilities and a solid background in inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.

Role Overview

• Role: Shipping & Receiving Associate
• Site: Shakopee, MN
• Work Days: Monday through Friday
• Weekly Commitment: 40 hours
• Employment Status: Full-Time

Core Duties

Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant experience in materials management, shipping, or receiving is preferred
• Must hold a current certification for forklift or lift truck operation
• Proficiency with computer software is essential
• Prior familiarity with ERP software is considered a plus
• Demonstrate high levels of attention to detail and organizational capability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as a team member
• Capability to manage multiple priorities within a high-speed warehouse setting
• Physical capacity to lift or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain on your feet for shifts lasting 8 hours or longer
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Physical Demands

The role involves regular physical activity, including standing for long periods, reaching, and lifting or transporting goods. You may occasionally operate in proximity to power tools, heavy machinery, mechanical components, and forklifts.

Safety Gear

You must wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves. You may also be required to use hearing protection periodically.
