Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions by analyzing root causes to ensure continuous production flow.
• Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on metal fabrication tools, material handling systems, and automated lubrication units.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery, replacing defective components to restore optimal functionality.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and interpret technical schematics to ensure accurate alignment and calibration of machine parts.
• Fabricate and modify custom parts or fixtures using lathes, drill presses, and grinders to support ongoing operational needs.
• Maintain the integrity of physical facility structures and utility systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic piping.
• Conduct rigorous post-repair testing to verify that all equipment meets safety and performance standards before returning to service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience using power tools and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering large assemblies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

Preferred Skills

• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field.
