Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate in Melville, NY area to handle inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records. This role supports a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

The position offers a second shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM with no degree required. Candidates should be able to lift and move items, operate standard warehouse equipment if qualified,

• 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or related warehouse roles.
• Ability to lift/move boxes and operate standard material-handling equipment.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping and inventory control.

Job description

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This person will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and keeping the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well independently and with a team, and can work in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $18 - $19 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments.
• Pick and pull orders accurately and on time.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment, if qualified.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production staff as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and shipping guidelines.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
