Miller Industries is seeking candidates for a shipping/receiving role at our facility. You will verify shipments, load trailers with crane and forklift, and ensure loads are properly staged and secured for transport.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills; forklift certification is a plus. We offer a climate controlled environment, a 4-on 4-off schedule, periodic bonuses, and generous development programs.

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of LN and Logistics software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Ability to pass forklift written and driving test.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
