Job summary

Eaton Plc is hiring a Shipper/Receiver I for 1st shift at the Weathers St site in Youngsville, NC. The role involves sorting, verifying, recording, and routing shipments, with SAP for freight processing and forklift operation. The position offers benefits and a pathway for cross-training across departments.

You will work 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime opportunities and the potential for career progression within the Critical Power Solutions Division.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Relocation assistance is not available; within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

Sort, verify, record, and route incoming and outgoing shipments.
Operate hand-held RF units to locate, move and allocate material.
Use SAP to process all incoming and outgoing freight.
Prepare items for shipment with proper containers, weights, postage and paperwork.
Interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery.
Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
Become forklift certified to transport and locate equipment and materials.
