Eaton Corporation in Youngsville, NC seeks a Shipping Coordinator – Raw Materials for 1st shift at our new RDC. The role involves entering data for shipping/receiving orders and coordinating with internal/external customers to resolve invoicing and on-hand issues in the warehouse.

The position pays $20.00 per hour with core hours 6:30am–3:00pm. Preferred SAP experience and forklift familiarity, with opportunities to advance through cross-training and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available; only candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator – Raw Materials – 1st shift – RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.

The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

Core hours are 6:30am – 3:00pm

What you’ll do:

The Shipping Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving order and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse.

In this role you will:

• Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
• Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
• Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
• Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
• Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience using SAP.
• Previous experience with fork lifts.
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and bend frequently.
