Job summary

Community Servings in Mansfield, MA, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for full-time work. You will handle shipping/receiving, inspect materials, and support kitchen operations while maintaining cold-storage standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, MA driver’s license, forklift certification, and ability to work in cold environments. Bilingual skills are a plus; CORI screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with a multi-cultural population.
• Ability to read and express ideas in English clearly.
• Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Valid MA driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Forklift certification and ability to drive a refrigerated truck a must.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive duties and signing for all food supplies.
• Inspect received goods for condition, labeling, and expiration.
• Maintain walk-in and dry storage areas; rotate stock and report issues.
• Drive refrigerated box truck between Mansfield and Jamaica Plain locations.
• Monitor inventory and assist Kitchen staff as needed.
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices are followed; CORI screen completion.
